On April 28, 2016, PROMED, the Council for the International Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine, announced that it is hosting the Latin America Medical Cannabis Conference July 27-29 in Costa Rica as a part of the ExpoMed series.

LAMCC is a medical cannabis education event, with courses on the legal American and Latin American markets.

With ColombiaUruguay and Chile leading the way with legalization in Latin America and several Latin American countries with pending legislation, LAMCC will help the curious understand Latin American markets and opportunities.

“If you’re interested in the Medical Cannabis Industry in Latin America or the US, whether as an investor or as an advocate or patient, the Latin America Medical Cannabis Conference is a great place to learn first hand about the many benefits of Medical Cannabis,” said TD Morales of Cannabis Industry Association Costa Rica. “On July 27th there will be an extra Cannabis Education Course where you will learn the basics of the Medical Cannabis Industry, which is the fastest growing industry in the world.”

Yami Bolanos, Costa Rican founder and president of the Greater Los Angeles Collective Alliance, a trade organization for medical cannabis facility owner-operators, will be the featured speaker.

Dr. Fernando Lorca, Minister of Health of Costa Rica, will inaugurate the conference.
