With eight more states having legalized some form of cannabis this past November, the industry is preparing for an unprecedented expansion, creating more job opportunities and careers for qualified individuals. If you’re looking for a career in cannabis, the Southern California Cannabis Career Fair at the California Cannabis Business Expo on Sunday, March 5, is a must-attend event.

Job seekers will be able to network with industry exhibitors, showcase entrepreneurs and other local companies offering employment opportunities across virtually all verticals of the cannabis industry, from entry level to executive openings. Hiring companies include dispensaries, delivery services, professional organizations, distribution companies, cultivators, extraction companies, accounting firms, law firms and more.

The career fair will be open from 4-7 p.m. at the Sheraton Marina in San Diego and will also feature two sessions by Karson Humiston, founder of Vangst, on how to prepare for your new career in cannabis. In the first session, Humiston will discuss how job seekers can break into the cannabis industry; and in her second session, Humiston will discuss how she started the country’s leading cannabis recruiting agency.

As a special incentive, those attending the career fair are invited to join CannaPitch, one of the largest entrepreneurial pitch events in the cannabis industry.

Admittance to the Southern California Cannabis Career Fair is $10 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Register now so you can secure your future in the legal cannabis industry.
