The state of Florida will miss its deadline to distribute new medical marijuana licenses. According to Sunshine State News, Christian Bax, the executive director of the Office of Medical Marijuana Use, sent a letter on Sept. 29, 2017, informing lawmakers that the office would not be able to distribute the five new medical marijuana licenses.
