On July 24, 2017, the Ohio Department of Commerce and State Board of Pharmacy formally requested that the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program receive a substantial budget increase. With the Ohio Controlling Board approving the request, the program will receive a budget increase of $6 million over the next two years.
