4/20 receives most of the attention, but sales in Colorado, Washington and Oregon make Labor Day the busiest holiday
BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 22, 2017 /Weed Wire/ — Labor Day Weekend invites backyard grilling, the last dip in the pool for the year, outdoor concerts and cannabis — lots of cannabis.
In fact, marijuana sales between Friday and Sunday of the long holiday weekend last year surpassed all other weekends of 2016 for Colorado, Washington and Oregon combined.
While 4/20 receives most of the holiday-oriented pot attention, it has not shaped up to be much of a multiple-day holiday. Instead, 4/20 represents a big day of sales. Labor Day Weekend, on the other hand, is a big deal for cannabis retailers.
Please see the attached report with much more detail about cannabis sales during Labor Day Weekend.
