Pesticide Residue Prompts Denver Business to Recall Marijuana

On Jan. 19, 2017, Green Man Cannabis in Denver voluntarily recalled marijuana flower and products due to samples containing off-label pesticide residues, as reported by the Denver Department of Environmental Health.

According to the DEH, the off-label pesticide residues detected in the samples are not on the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s approved list of pesticides.

The recalled products were sold at both of Green Man’s dispensaries in Denver and contain one of the following OPC license numbers: 403-00738, 403-00361 or 403R-00201.

Recalled products can be returned to the point of purchase. Consumers with specific questions regarding the recall can email the dispensary at recall@greenmancannabis.com.

According to the DEH, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the recall.
