Dirt to Dispensary: Sonoma County Hosting Cannabis Workshops

Sonoma County, California, is taking a proactive step to help local medical cannabis stakeholders get up to speed on county requirements for zoning, permitting and compliance across the supply chain.

Dirt to Dispensary, an eight-part workshop series, starts on May 3, 2017, at 3 p.m. in Santa Rosa’s Glaser Center, and runs every Wednesday at the same time through June 21, with the remaining workshops being held at the Permit & Resource Management Department on 2550 Ventura Ave. in Santa Rosa.

The first workshop on May 3 will give an overview of the Sonoma County Cannabis Program, including discussion of the cannabis land use ordinance, cannabis business tax ordinance and the cannabis health ordinance, with county staff on hand to address cannabis business requirements.
