On Feb. 14, 2017, Jamaica’s Cannabis Licensing Authority announced that it granted conditional approval to three cannabis business applicants at the beginning of 2017.
On Nov. 15, 2016, Jamaica’s Cannabis Licensing Authority announced that by the end of October it had received a total of 89 applications for cannabis cultivation and processing.
Jamaica’s Cannabis Licensing Authority has received more than 200 medical cannabis licensing applications, as reported by Jamaica Information Service on June 29, 2016.
