Many were puzzled earlier this spring when Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State legislature reached a deal to legalize medical marijuana, but only in vaporizable form and only for a list of conditions that changed up until the last moment.
As was expected by the appealing parties, Dr. Susan Sisley’s appeal for reinstatement to the University of Arizona faculty was denied. The decision is final, and subject to no further review according to a letter dated July 28, 2014, from Dr. Andrew Comrie, the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost for the University of Arizona.
The United States needs to focus on the problem of treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but the fight against PTSD suffered a setback when the University of Arizona fired Dr. Suzanne Sisley who had proposed studying the efficacy of cannabis as a PTSD treatment medication.
