Alaska residents with cannabis convictions on their records may get a second chance. On Jan. 31, 2018, Rep. Harriet Drummond introduced HB 316, a bill that would seek to seal public records pertaining to certain cannabis convictions.

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 31, 2018 /Weed Wire/ — Today, District Attorney George Gascón announced that the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office will be retroactively applying Proposition 64, which legalized the possession and recreational use of marijuana for adults ages 21 years or older, to misdemeanor and felony convictions dating back to 1975.
Drugs bring people together. So does shoplifting, petty theft and other small-time crimes. An uncommon cadre of well-heeled individuals have coalesced over the crimes mentioned.
