The Humboldt Institute for Interdisciplinary Marijuana Research, based at Humboldt State University, has launched the HIIMR Medical Cannabis Business Registry to capture data on California’s marijuana industry.
On Oct. 26, 2016, Humboldt State University’s Humboldt Institute for Interdisciplinary Marijuana Research will sponsor a panel discussion on Proposition 64, the November 2016 ballot measure that if passed by voters would legalize recreational marijuana in the state.
To hear a student say, “I’m getting my MBA to work in the cannabis industry” would be truly interesting. So this reply may be unlikely, but such a response is not far-fetched, considering that the industry has, and will continue, to spark the interest of a younger demographic.
