The Cannabis Career Institute: Helping People Grow

As the march of marijuana moves towards legalization, it is truly amazing to see how many unique niche businesses sprout up around the industry. Whether you are selling cannabutter, catering parties with cannabis or opening up a pipe supply store, there are innumerable ways to integrate cannabis into your business model.

One of the more ingenious ways of making money in the cannabis industry has come from the Cannabis Career Institute. The CCI offers workshops for budding herbal entrepreneurs covering a variety of topics necessary for those wishing to enter the cannabis trade.

There is no better way to learn about the cannabis industry than from its pioneers. PH levels, soil composition, humidity and rotating light cycles are some of the many aspects necessary to learn about cannabis cultivation. From personal experience, you never know how much you don’t know about marijuana until you learn from those who took the time to hone the craft of cultivation.

If you already know how to grow, you are in luck because the CCI provides more than just lessons in growing cannabis and legal tips. Robert Calkin, founder of CCI and a former instructor at Oaksterdam University, a cannabis college in California, knows the importance of the multifaceted marijuana industry.

“This is Business 101, plus cannabis. Once you can do this legally, they still need to know how to start the business, market it and succeed. It’s the nuts and bolts of the cannabis business,” Calkin said in an interview with The News Herald. Taking an official class with the CCI does not come as cheaply as cannabis, but for the moderate price of $299 you won’t go bankrupt either.

What makes the CCI’s business model clever is the fact that they do not have any direct contact with cannabis. Since they do not directly handle or sell cannabis, they are able to operate in all fifty states, which also frees them from many of the banking issues that plague other cannabis-related businesses.

The CCI is currently setting up workshops across the nation, making money, and more importantly, helping establish vital infrastructure for the cannabis industry when nationwide legalization finally happens. If you are interested in getting into the cannabis industry, then you would be well served with lessons from the CCI.

A forward thinking individual with a lot of capital may look at the CCI and see the true potential of such workshops. On one hand, you can take a page out of the CCI’s playbook and travel the country providing workshops for interested individuals; and trust me, there are millions of interested individuals. The market is big enough for more than just the CCI.

On the other hand, you can take it a step further and also invest in the marijuana-related infrastructure that the cannabis industry will build upon. You can teach people to grow their cannabis, their business, and then you can sell them all the items required for going into business such as grow lights, special soil or real estate property for cultivation sites.

The clever entrepreneur will look for opportunities in places most people would never consider, and then turn it into profit. In the future cannabis industry, the one who makes the most money won’t be the one that sells the most pot, but rather the one that uses all parts of the cannabis buffalo.
