Ethan Nadelmann to 'Step Aside' as Executive Director of Drug Policy Alliance

On Jan. 27, 2017, Ethan Nadelmann announced via Twitter that he is going to “step aside” as the executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, a non-profit organization advocating for the end of the drug war through sensible drug law reform.

While the DPA hasn’t issued an official press release on Nadelmann’s resignation, it did tweet a response to Nadelmann’s announcement.

Through his role as the executive director of the DPA, Nadelmann worked on drug policy reform campaigns across the United States and the world, focusing on issues from legalization and harm reduction to prison reform and racial disparities, among others.
