On March 13, 2017, the Ohio Department of Commerce announced that it is in search of a contractor with experience in the legal marijuana industry to create a rubric to score applicants for medical marijuana business licenses.

According to the Request for Information issued by the DOC, the contractor will be required to develop a process for reviewing and scoring applications for cultivation, processing and lab testing licenses, as well as creating a rubric to score specific elements of the applications, such as business models, operation plans and security measures, among others.

Interested contractors must submit their RFIs online by 5 p.m. on March 17, 2017.
