Oregon State Fair to Feature Marijuana Exhibit

On July 28, 2016, Fox 12 Oregon reported that the Oregon State Fair, taking place Aug. 26-Sept. 5, 2016, in Salem at the L.B. Day Amphitheatre, is going to include a marijuana exhibit this year.

Last year’s fair included a successful informational event on marijuana, but this year’s marijuana exhibit will make cannabis tangible by displaying immature cannabis plants in a greenhouse.

While the marijuana exhibit isn’t an officially sanctioned competition of the fair, the exhibit’s organizers plan to give awards for the best plants.

Fairgoers must be 21-years-old or older to visit the exhibit.
