A San Diego marijuana company is offering up advice to local residents who are looking to properly grow their own marijuana.
According to San Diego 7, Green Carpet Growing is offering a class to help consumers cut out the “middle-man” and the wait for legal recreational marijuana by teaching them how to grow marijuana inside of their homes.
“You don’t have to worry about buying it from someone,” said Grace Olivia Hicks, co-founder of Green Carpet Growing. “You don’t have to go to a dispensary and sit for an hour, or worry that you’re going to run into someone you know.”
Hicks and her co-founder, Marc Emmelmann, insist that growing marijuana isn’t easy, but that their class can give potential growers all of the necessary information to get started.
The 2.5 hour class is $75 per person, and covers the basics of marijuana cultivation. An at-home appointment for one-on-one help is $150 per hour. The company also offers a package that spans the plant’s 15-week cultivation cycle, costing between $3,000-$8,000, as reported by The San Diego Union-Tribune.
According to California law, a citizen can cultivate up to six indoor plants at home, though the plants cannot be visible outside of the private residence.
