COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2017 /Weed Wire/ – Auditor of State Dave Yost today called on the Commerce Department to suspend the issuance of Level 1 cultivator’s licenses for medical marijuana following media reports that one of the application graders was a convicted drug dealer.

Ohio Medical Marijuana Cultivator Application Period Closed

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 5, 2017 /Weed Wire/ — The Department of Commerce has finished accepting applications for Level I and Level II Cultivator licenses. Level I cultivators will be permitted to operate an initial marijuana cultivation area up to 25,000 square feet. Level II cultivators will be permitted to operate an initial marijuana cultivation area of 3,000 square feet. Licensees may submit an expansion request pursuant to the cultivator rules.
