ALBANY, NY, June 20, 2017 / — The New York State Senate on Tuesday passed legislation sponsored by Senator Diane Savino (D-SI/Brooklyn) to add Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to the list of qualifying conditions treatable with medical marijuana in New York State.
ALBANY, New York, June 20, 2017 /Weed Wire/ — A bipartisan proposal to add post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a qualifying condition for New York’s medical marijuana program has received final approval from state lawmakers and is headed to the desk of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
On May 9, 2017, the New York Senate Health Committee passed Senate Bill 5629, which would consider post-traumatic stress disorder an eligible condition for the state’s medical marijuana program.
