On May 9, 2017, the New York Senate Health Committee passed Senate Bill 5629, which would consider post-traumatic stress disorder an eligible condition for the state’s medical marijuana program.
On May 5, 2017, the New York State Department of Health gave additional transparency to its program by adding registration statistics and a public list of consenting medical marijuana doctors to the program’s website.
