Entrepreneurs, investors and career seekers are eager to navigate California’s newly legalized recreational cannabis market and the California Cannabis Business Expo is ready to show current and future stakeholders the way on its opening day at the Sheraton Marina Hotel in San Diego on March 5, 2017.
Entrepreneurs are blazing new trails in the legal cannabis industry and the stories they have to tell are the keys to understanding the multifaceted nature of cannabis innovation. On March 5, the Entrepreneur Showcase will give you an early look at companies entering the cannabis marketplace with solutions for this budding industry.
The Entrepreneur Showcase will feature startups seeking seed capital and emerging growth companies with millions in revenue, as well as growth companies seeking the next level of funding. Whether you’re looking for inspiration or looking for an investment opportunity, the entrepreneurs in our showcase will give you priceless industry insight on what it takes for a cannabis product or service to gain traction.
Four entrepreneurs from the Entrepreneur Showcase will be selected to participate in CannaPitch, a live pitch event that has attracted thousands of investors and entrepreneurs and helped more than a dozen companies successfully raise millions in investments.
The companies that participate in CannaPitch on March 5 will be recorded and promoted to our entire network of investors and companies seeking strategic acquisitions.
While attendees of CannaPitch cannot invest in the companies pitching, the event will be an exclusive crash course in pitch education and demonstrate how entrepreneurs compete for capital in the cannabis market.
Careers in Cannabis
If you’re looking to launch your cannabis career instead of a cannabis startup, register for the first Southern California Cannabis Career Fair at CCBE, where two sessions will show attendees how to prepare for a new career in cannabis.
Career seekers will then have the chance to network with companies seeking employees for entry to executive level positions. Hiring companies include dispensaries, delivery services, distributors, cultivators, manufacturers, accounting firms, law firms and more.
The job fair is $10 in advance and $25 on March 5, the day of the event. As an added incentive, by registering for the career fair, you gain admittance to CannaPitch where you can further enrich your cannabis industry education.
CCBE’s opening day will capture the essence of the entrepreneurial cannabis spirit. Register for CCBE now so you can get a head start in staking your claim in legal cannabis.
