SEATTLE, April 4, 2017 /Weed Wire/ – Leafly, the world’s cannabis information resource, is reviving its smash-hit 2016 comedy tour for one night only to celebrate the biggest unofficial holiday in cannabis culture: 4/20. On April 20, 2017, comedians Damon Wayans Jr., Nikki Glaser, and Pete Holmes will headline four West Coast shows in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
“Last year’s comedy tour was such a success that we couldn’t resist bringing it back for one special night,” said Kristin Kofmehl, Events Manager at Leafly. “Cannabis and comedy are a natural combination, and we’re excited to bring the cannabis community together for a night of laughter while supporting an important cause in the process.”
In the spirit of the evening, tickets will cost $4.20. Ticket proceeds will benefit Rise Up, a social impact initiative created by the cannabis brand Marley Natural that promotes Bob Marley’s vision of positive social change, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Rise Up will be donating the proceeds to the Minority Cannabis Business Association, the first non-profit organization created specifically to progress the cannabis industry by increasing diversity.
